She is also very well known as the Queen of Latin  Soul.La Lupe without a doubt is one of the best performers of our time.

Photo 2: Lauren Velez, who plays La Lupe in this film, is a Boriqua actress who is best known for her roles in US television shows such as Dexter, OZ, and Ugly Betty.She has received awards such as Best Supporting Actress award from Long Island International Film Expo (2006) and Rita Moreno HOLA Award for Excellence from the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (2010).
