Yo Disney is pulling some major ish, suddenly marketing their previously white princess as “Latina.”

To me, that’s almost worse than not having a Latina princess at all.   In that instance, it’s an absence.   In this instance, it’s taking a blatantly white character and re-branding her for marketing purposes.   What a slap in the face to every fan who so badly wanted a Latina princess and kept asking for one.      

Did anybody else catch that along with their “re-branding” they kept Sofia as light as possible but still changed her demure pose to a more sassy one when she magically became Latina?
