Having multiple sclerosis is great… if there is a Zombie Apocalypse.
Dear fellow MSers, great news. I know it seems all we ever see is the negative side of MS but let’s look on the bright side. Dec 21 will be here in a couple of days, and some theorize this is when the Zombie Apocalypse will happen. But the way I see it, we are safe. Ain’t no zombie gonna want out atrophied, lesion laden brains. So see, we are safe.
Dr. Terry Wahls was once debilitated by multiple sclerosis. She completely reversed it with diet and wrote a book called Minding My Mitochondria. This underscores not only the dramatic significance of hunter-gatherer style organic food, but that ultimately we as individuals hold the true power to our wellness. As she says, pay now for organics, or pay later in doctor bills, missed work, early retirement and pharmaceuticals.
My color theory professor sent me this video when I told her about my MS
and at the time I was like
“NO I JUST WANT TO PRETEND I DON’T HAVE THIS DISEASE LALALA”
and she was like “please take care of yourself ;3;”
so now that it’s getting colder
and I’m running out of meds
and I’m no longer on medicaid
and I can’t even afford a little bit of my injectons
I think I’ll look at all those links my cousins sent me and check out all the foods that hold important vitamins that the lady in this video talks about
Can you guys tell me what medications you take? I’m on Copaxone which I’ve been told is the safest, but I think I want to try something a little more effective, even if they are kind of dangerous.
I have a whole packet with information about all of my options, but I want to hear some personal experiences. So what you say, wanna tell me ‘bout your drugs?
