Having multiple sclerosis is great… if there is a Zombie Apocalypse.

Dear fellow MSers, great news. I know it seems all we ever see is the negative side of MS but let’s look on the bright side. Dec 21 will be here in a couple of days, and some theorize this is when the Zombie Apocalypse will happen. But the way I see it, we are safe. Ain’t no zombie gonna want out atrophied, lesion laden brains. So see, we are safe.

Dr. Terry Wahls was once debilitated by multiple sclerosis. She completely reversed it with diet and wrote a book called Minding My Mitochondria. This underscores not only the dramatic significance of hunter-gatherer style organic food, but that ultimately we as individuals hold the true power to our wellness. As she says, pay now for organics, or pay later in doctor bills, missed work, early retirement and pharmaceuticals.

My color theory professor sent me this video when I told her about my MS

and at the time I was like

“NO I JUST WANT TO PRETEND I DON’T HAVE THIS DISEASE LALALA”

and she was like “please take care of yourself ;3;”

so now that it’s getting colder

and I’m running out of meds

and I’m no longer on medicaid

and I can’t even afford a little bit of my injectons

I think I’ll look at all those links my cousins sent me and check out all the foods that hold important vitamins that the lady in this video talks about

I’m about to get all healthy in this joint

cause I am NOT about to lose my hands this year

Don’t I have like, 3 followers with MS?

Can you guys tell me what medications you take? I’m on Copaxone which I’ve been told is the safest, but I think I want to try something a little more effective, even if they are kind of dangerous.

I have a whole packet with information about all of my options, but I want to hear some personal experiences. So what you say, wanna tell me ‘bout your drugs?

I forgot to take my medication yesterday because my phone was dead so my alarm never went off.

I’m going to be the reason my most devastating symptoms relapse when the weather gets cold.

My doctor wanted me to drop about 50lbs.  I started a workout that HE suggested and it sent me into a flair up.  Thanks doc.

Filled my first sharps container, it feels like a milestone. Another MS gift.

Woah that must have taken you years.

I have a really small container, but I’ve been told it will hold a few hundred.

  • Started medication

Can health insurance cover the cost of video games?

‘Cause jesus fucking christ

this nurse keeps nagging me about them

“You’re playing video games at least 3 times a week, right?”

UGHHHH

Can my blood tests come back already so that I can start treatment?

I just want to brush my fucking teeth without my toothbrush falling out of my hand 4 times.

Jesus fucking Christ.

I called my doctor today to see how my blood tests came back

they weren’t ready

but she asked me if I was still taking my vitamin D

and I was like yeah

and then she was like “Have you been playing any video games?”

and I was like “…You were serious about that?”

Apparently MS is going to make me really stupid and playing video games will help keep my mind sharp.

Of course the one thing that can help me is something I can’t even do or enjoy. I DON’T LIKE VIDEO GAMES.

Looks like I’m doomed to lose my mind. :’D

I just emailed my screenwriting professor letting him know I might not be in class tomorrow.

My back still really hurts, there’s a ringing in my ears, and I feel like I’m going to vomit.

I’m going to sit here and pretend it has nothing to do with my spinal tap.
