NICKELODEON BEGINS PRODUCTION ON REMAKE OF E4’S MISFITS

“American children’s network Nickelodeon has reportedly begun production on remaking the E4 show Misfits.

Nathan Cress, best know for his work on the hit Nickelodeon show iCarly, will helm the band of Misfits, and oddly enough he shares a name with the British version of the character he will be portraying.

The series focuses on a group of community service participants who receive superpowers after a freak storm. Nickelodeon execs say that the sexual nature of the program will be heavily toned down, and replaced with more storylines involving conflict resolutions with family, friends and peers.

Two other Channel 4 dramas, Shameless and Skins, have recently been remade for the US, and Nickelodeon hopes to bring more british TV ventures into their programming late next year.”

I don’t even watch Misfits and I have one thing to say about this:
